Q: What do these companies have in common?
A: They were all Inc. 5000 honorees, a prestigious award given by Inc Magazine to the top 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America. Companies who’ve made the list on average have grown sixfold since 2014 – a tremendous feat in an economy that’s only grown around 11%.
Q: What does this have to do with East Falls?
A: We’re in the club, baby. East Falls company STRATIS IoT has earned the position 888 on the 2018 Inc.5000 List! There’s a big gala in San Antonio, TX this October and of course there’s press, too. Debuting in the top 20% is National news.
A splashy Inc Magazine piece “6 Reasons These Entrepreneurs Crush It While Others Merely Succeed,” summarized six traits of successful entrepreneurs, then identified founders from this year’s Inc. 5000 who embody them best. Of traits like Confidence, Independence, and Delegation, STRATIS CEO Felicite Moorman was singled out for exemplifying Knowledge.
Felicite studies the industry, she’s constantly on Google Alert. A huge believer in “deep research” to establish relationships that can provide invaluable information. She’s all about the power of three: when working with customers, she develops relationships with people in three different roles — preferably in entirely different departments – to get as full a picture as possible of a company’s needs, expectations, resources, infrastructure…
And how STRATIS IoT is performing for them (and how they could do better). “Ask one person something, you get their version,” she told Inc. Magazine, “Ask three people, and you get a better truth.”
