Police responded to report of suspicious males roaming block trying door handles on parked cars. They observed three males on north driveway of 3400 Tilden. Males fled when police approached, dropping pocket knife, credit cards, and a bookbag identified as belonging to complainants. One black male (age 16-20) arrested. Value: $50
3110 West Queen Ln. (PWD Queen Ln Treatment Plant)
Complainant (PWD employee) states he heard several alarm sensors go off inside the treatment plant. When he investigated, he observed 4 young black males on the roof of the plant. When he chased them off he discovered 2 broken windows and damage to an AED (cardiac defibrillator). Males were stopped at 3500 block of Midvale by police and positively identified by compl.

Complainant states unknown person(s) broke the rear passenger-side window of his 2007 Jeep Liberty between 8PM on 5/26 and 8PM on 5/27, ransacked the vehicle, and took a dash camera. Value: $75

Complainant states an unknown male grabbed her tan handbag and tried to run. Compl struck the male with her umbrella but he grabbed it and knocked her to the ground. Compl sustained a cut to her left thumb and pain in her left hip. No arrest. Value: $300

Complainant states that male assaulted him with metal piece of bunkbed while he was sleeping. Compl had cut above eye and swollen forehead. Compl was at hospital when he made the report. No arrest.

Complainant states several black males gained access to school in unknown manner. Several office windows were smashed and items stolen. Males took Gatorades from refrigerator and ate a box of chocolate. Description: 4 black males, age unknown. 3 with hoodies, one with short sleeves, and one carrying a baseball bat. Complainant states that between 6:30 and 7:35PM, unknown person(s) took his 2015 BMW 328 GT from listed location. Vehicle contained compl’s MacBook. Value: $40,000

Complainant states her apartment was secured at 4PM on 5/14. When she returned at 8AM on 5/16, she noticed several items missing. No signs of forced entry. Compl states that apartment is being remodeled and contractors replacing windows have access. Stolen items: hair dryer, safe containing personal documents, fireplace screen, and cleaning supplies. Complainant returned home to find his apartment ransacked and several items missing. Compl noticed bathroom window was open. Witness states she saw potential suspect on her security camera footage — black female (age approx. mid 20s) in dark blue coat and pants leaving the area with duffle bag matching stolen item. Footage also shows female getting into a gray mid-sized sedan with New York plates. Stolen items: Dell laptop with computer bag, two controllers w charging unit, Samsung tablet, and one red and black “Atomic” duffle bag. Value: $1200

Complainant was followed to her 5th floor apartment by two females who began to punch her about the body. Offender #1 sprayed mace in compl’s face. Compl refused medic assistance. Complainant was entering his apartment building when unknown black male approached him with silver handgun and said “don’t say a word.” Compl was robbed of debit card and $20, zip tied, and told to wait in his car for 10 seconds. Male fled in unknown direction.

Complainant left his MacBook Pro Silver on his bed in his dorm room (which he shares with 4 other males) at about 5PM. When he returned at 7PM, the computer was missing. His bedroom door was unlocked and ajar. No forced entry. Value: $1900
