This Dinner Promises to Be a Phantastic Event!
Annual pre-Thanksgiving community festival of beautiful hand-made bowls by local artists/students and over 50 delicious soups from Philly restaurants raises awareness and funds for the work of Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, providing homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and housing services for at-risk neighbors.
Join us for this Community Awareness and Fundraising Dinner for Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network. Hosted by Mike McGrath of WHYY’s “You Bet Your Garden” and guest appearance of our beloved Philly Phanatic, the Empty Bowl Dinner is a night of fun for neighbors of all ages!
Choose a hand-made bowl; fill it with delicious soups from 50 restaurants, breads and home-made desserts; enjoy the warmth of a caring community; leave with your bowl as a tangible reminder of our many neighbors who face empty bowls and struggle with housing insecurity on a daily basis.
